Found out that my lab instructor from first year passed away yesterday after a marathon surgery in an attempt to remove numerous tumours.
It’s difficult to digest really; one moment, someone’s there, another, they’re just…gone.
RIP Tariq Naqvi, a man who was always willing to help.γ
Inane plot of the day:
- Register “Comrade Soy” soy products brand in Russia, the land of the oligarchs
- Run production in China, producing soy goods from soy sauce to tofu
- Market “Comrade Soy” products in China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, and North Korea
- Chortle at the ironies of capitalism profiting off communist systems
For the record, I do know it won’t work, heh.
Anywho, back to this…Projects and Organizational Structure unit.
You know what I learned? I learned that pulling an all-nighter is significantly harder when it involves standing from 1 AM to 7 AM and that driving after such an all-nighter is a serious exercise in focus.
On another note, hospitals should really have more water fountains. It’s probably not a design priority, but it’d certainly be nice.
And why do hospitals have that…hospital smell?
